Let us discuss the relation between the inches & mile
1 feet = 12 inches
1 meter = 3.3 feet [ Approximate value]
1 km = 1000 m
So, 1 km = 1000 × 3.3 feet = 3300 feet
i.e. 1 km = 3300 × 12 inches = 39600 inches
So, 1.6 km[Approximate value] or 1 mile = 39600 × 1.6 = 63360 inches
Hence, 1 mile = 63360 inches [Approximate value]
