      That would be something you would need to do research in either google or in books.  There are many types of strokes some are most dibilating.  My Mom had a severe stroke in 2006 and died in 2009.  One day she was fine the next day completely bedridden, could not talk.  But there are people that have milder strokes and it is very very important to get help quickly very quickly when one has a stroke as to the reversal of any damages it might cause to one.
