Sounds like the squeezing of civil liberties on the alter of the terror laws and the war on terror.We're under every more stringent survellance with the authorities needing more and more ways to monitor the people ~ in our interests and for our ultimate well being of course.Add this to the risk averse,health and saftey driven,nanny state culture we've become and i despair of the way things are going.
Our civil liberties were hard won over centuries yet we seem to be throwing them away for protection from a threat thats barely credible.Trading our liberty for a comfy cage because with freedom comes responsibility and most of the sheep out there would sooner trade their freedom n let the government take care of the rest.
Well i expect theirs thousands of activists over the centuries spinning in their graves !!!!
I want my freedom back !!!

How about the Patriot Act? Doesn't that take away for our personal freedom, or privacy?
What about the law that allows government to take away your property, no matter how long it's been in your family, in the name of progress? These two laws alone have changed the U.S. drastically.

I believe the more laws you make, the less freedom you have. That's just my opinion.

Eminent domain laws allows the government to purchase your private property with out your approval, when offered a fair market price, whoever determines that, I don't know.

If the city, county, state, or federal government wants your land they can basically take it, no matter how long your family has owned the property, there's nothing you can do.

We don't own the mineral rights to our own property.

Im not sure what anyone said on this subject, but there is 2 different kinds of law.. common law, and UCC (universal commercial code) which ever nation on the planet part of the UN has versions of. That is how they do business.. Law is business unless it's common law, and that is built in to every spiritually evolved being that is a part of the conscious whole. :]

National Security Act robs me every day and it is not a law. You can't fight an act in the Supreme Court. So can it be made a crime please. Two thirds of California voters, voted that it is a crime to prohibit a person from removing things from a city or county dump in order to recycle or reuse such items. It was a ballot issue. The state legislatures decided to go around the law and not enforce the law in this matter and now prohibits public access to dumps for this purpose. As a result the electrical repair industry is no longer supported. I use to fix TVs, Lights and appliances that are now no longer profitable to fix and the parts, though available new are not available as salvaged parts for less than wholesale.

freedom you haven't any,, you do have some rights.but your gov, is slowly taking them away..

Income Tax Laws have taken away my freedom pursuit of hapiness. They are unconstitutional and choke the life out of my income. We were suppossed to support this country with luxury taxes and import dutys.
