What plant has 1mm thinner then hair nettles that stick in you skin just by brushing by it.
I was at the Farmers Market at Union Square NYC today. I was looking (and touching) asst'd plants and noticed my left hand felt like I had a splinter. Upon closer inspection I found about a dozen 1mm nettles stuck in my hand. I pulled out some and had to wait till I got home to remove the rest. I did not touch any cactus plants, it had to be another kind of plant. Does anyone know what plant has these very tiny hair like nettles that stick in your skin just by brushing by it?
Nettles can be removed with juice from the nettles themselves rubbed over the area... it takes out the sting and causes the fine hairlike needles to come out of the skin....alternatively use comfrey in the same manner...use the leaves and stem.
