 Don’t worry about the small stuff. Are you another Eric Snowden? Have  you done anything greatly illegal? Do you find yourself interesting? Why would you be searched out? Nobody has any interest in me, nothing beyond curiosity and that don’t count for squat………..

You may get a letter from the agency investigation you!  You may simply contact the agency you think is investigating you and ask them up front.  Perhaps, if they are, you can expedite their investigation by offering an interview.  

I got a letter from Homeland Security several years ago as a result of something I found in my luggage during the routine snooping.  NOT THE INSPECTOR, I found something.  How it got there, I will never know, but I didn't put it there.  The letter was offensive and actually kind of ignorant, under the circumstances.  I wrote back to them.

No one will ever investigate anyone who has no red flags.

...unless the person in question is applying for access or employment in an agency that requires secrecy for any reason. Many non-government jobs also require background checks where the use of information may infringe on confidentiality, such as medical and financial information. Your neighbors may be more interested in what is going on next door if...fill in the blank. They will be prompted to alert authority figures for any and all activities that seem disturbing. Your neighbors know and report anything and everything that anyone would possibly find interesting about everybody and everything. Without you we would have nothing to talk about of interest at all. So we are all secretly watching everywhere and everyone all the time and sometime it is reported in the news and we are so happy to have made this contribution to the great American Life-style.

And just think you just may be delighted to learn that your tip to the local police may stop a sweet child deeply involved in a conspiracy to topple the governments of the world with their odd little science project growing in the back yard.

If you arent doing anything whats the worry ???????? If you are doing something then you should be worried anyway. As To Rights : With the FBI you may have some ,with Homeland Security I would advise learn a foriegn language  and enjoy your stay in Gitmo
