"Proceed" is the spelling if you mean to indicate that something should continue or move forward, for example.
If you mean to indicate that one thing happens before another, then the word is spelled "precede."

Just an FYI if you want to get the spelling of a word without waiting...
You can add spellchecker to your browser bar. It's easy. Most all browser have plugins for it, then you'll always have it handy. Type spelllchecker into your address bar and you'll find downloads for all different ones.
Another option, type Websters dictionary into your address bar. Type in the word you want to check (misspelled is fine) and you will be given the correct spelling.
