    Why aren't condo building owners not held responsible for roof damage caused by snow not being romoved off of building

    The roof of condo buildings are part of  the exterior of the home and  usually exteriors are maintained by the board governing the condos. Condo owners really do pay for the damage in the fees that they are charged monthly or yearly, however the complex is set up. Owners pay fees to live in condo complexes and these fees are for covering the cost of damages and maintenance of common areas
