    Ohm's law states that " Physical conditions like temperature, pressure, density, etc remaining constant, the potential difference applied across the conductor is directly proportional to the current flowing through it."


    i.e. potential difference is proportional to the current


    i.e. V α I


    i.e. V = IR where, R is the proportionality constant known as the resistance of the conductor


    This relation is valid only for Ohmic conductor i.e. which obeys ohm's law completely.
