      The same way you drive a car, carefully, because you have a whole lot more people riding behind you.

        Fasten your seat belt, adjust your mirrors, step on the brake, pust the yellow  park brake button, put lever in drive, (or on the newer busses, push the "D" button), and drive like a car.  When you turn, you need more space because the back wheels will run over the curb, or cars or pedestrians.
