    why does my spayed female dog pee on corners?

    Female dogs mark territory just like male dogs do, it's just not so common to see. I'm assuming you let the dog out often so that this isn't a problem with not being totally housebroken. They still need to go out every few hours when you're home even when housebroken, just to satisfy the urge to go.


    Once they pee in places you will need to totally clean the area so they don't smell where they went the last time. Using the neutralizing solutions from a pet store or department store usually work, unless it's carpet. You may need to pull up the carpet and the pad too as you'll probably never get the smell out totally.
