I believe it is Mother nature giving us a signal on how easy it is to destroy our environment. It shows how humans go for the cream of the crop; AS we view where we live and how we treat our planet, we go to what's best and not what's important for long term ecological ballance.

I doubt if God was really P.O.'d to do this...its geoelogical! I commend them for their fortitude in dealing with what has been happening in Japan...they have a wonderful culture and stoicism...I hope all goes well for their country...the US should adopt some of their attitudes concerning respect for the elderly...helping one another...being dignified and respectful..(:

You ask our opinions simply to stomp your foot and yell that it says so in the bible? Does your bible specifically say Japan would be hit with an earthquake? Does it mention that Japan would be hit by a tsunami? No? Then it does not say in the bible that God was going to send us a message by wiping out 1/2 of Japan. Haven't they suffered enough without you "Christians" making it out that God made Japan his object of choice to send a message to worse people in the world than the Japanese?

This comment points directly to bluedeaths suggestion for using proper grammar. If you wish to be understood, proper grammar is a key ingredient in accomplishing that. Shouting in forums (typing in all caps) is the fastest way to having your message go unheard by the majority. The only ones who may take the time to read will the the ones patient enough to "listen" to your shouted opinion.
So, perhaps you can try again to explain what your point is without shouting so that those of us who missed it, might actually see it.

Jean cannot help to shout or use poor grammar. Silly girl, the book of Revelations says nothing of having an earthquake in Japan being anything more unusual than having a Starbucks in Washington State. Your simple ideas about what the Bible says you may need more education and less ignorance.

Do you believe he's sending us a message every time there's an earthquake, hurricane, tsunami, volcanic action, blizzard, massive forest fires caused by lightening? Do you suppose he caused the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant to explode?
