    Why do they call it Good Friday when Christ was tortured and nailed to the cross? I'd hate to see one his one bad days

    what a way to spend easter hanging on a cross.
    He rose 2 days later. I mean i know people with bad hamstrings that couldnt recover that quick

    It may be that it was first called “God’s Friday” since this was the day that God gave the supreme sacrifice in seeing His Son Jesus Christ die on the cross for our sins. Over the years, “God’s Friday” may have become “Good Friday.”
