No that’s not correct I have to disagree with that, if you think scientifically yes you are correct but if you think spiritually than you are wrong because you can’t understand spiritual stuff until Holy Spirit is gives you the understanding.
There is life after life and its proven, when you die physically its not an end its just an beginning of the beginnings.

After Paul made the statement to which you refer about understanding spiritual things (1 Cor. 2:14) he goes on to say the Corinthians WERE NOT SPIRITUAL (1 Cor 3:1,) but he continued to teach them anyway. In fact he taught them two books full. The obvious conclusion is that learning God’s message can be done in direct proportion to our acceptance of God. Rom 1:14, 15 shows that the order of spiritual growth STARTS by having the sinner taught about God.
indeed off the top of head i remember reading "we will know all things' i cant remember exactly where in the bible ,but i can find it cause its there

1 Cor 13:12 NIV "Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known." This verse may be saying that we will know others but if may mean we will know facts of God just like people know us today. I'm not sure.
Yes. We will know each other in heaven. The only reason why we don't recognize each other here, in this life, is because we were born into this world to be separated from each others "free will" and the because of the individuality of the structure of the body. Once we were born, we forgot about being spirit, so we forgot about heaven and even take for granted that we enter heaven nightly as a requirement for being alive.
Yes. We will know each other and recognize each other.

1 Thess 5:21 KJV "Prove all things; hold fast that which is good." Your comments are very interesting. "We were born...to be separated from each other...we forgot about being in the spirit." I guess I must be from Missouri. I need to be shown where you get your information. By the way, sister Ginger, I'm curious about the term sister. Are you a "sister" in the catholic faith our simply a sister in Christ?
Hi Norm! Hey, welcomes to the board. I'm fairly new here, myself. You asked if I was a sister in the catholic faith. The answer is no. I am a sister in the faith. yes, I am Christian. Hope that doesn't bother you. Are you here to answer questions, or find out more about me? you said you needed to be shown where I get my information. Well, it is rather, common sense that wer are born separate from each other. Common sense. Need I go to Scripture to prove this? I hope not, common sense should exist inside a man whether he believe or not. But, if you must:
Genesis 25:23
And the LORD said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.
Yes, we are born separate from each other. The above being just the way it is in life.
Oh, you mentioned being from Missiouri. I have no problem with Missouri. I'm in Pittsburgh, PA, myself. Hope that's not an issue for you.
And, you brought up why I mentioned how we forgot about being in the Spirit. I was referring to the book of Ephesians. Do you remember the 1st chapter? How it talks about being chosen before the foundation of the world. With that in mind, do you remember how many are called and few are chosen? Well, ha, that's what I was referring to. Do you need me to pull the Scripturee so that you can refer to it for your reference or does my mentioning it without the Scripture pose as an issue for you?>
Well, I hope I've answered your questions. Sometimes, I do go off into just talking about it without posting alot of Scripture. I keep getting word from some folks here that this is NOT a bible prophechy board, and I love Bible Prophecy.
Carry on good brother. Do what is right!

PS: i have used the term: "Your sister" for about 11 years now. It has become a part of me to say so and remind my Christian brothers and sisters that not only am I sister in the faith, but that I am also with them in the tribulation. Which means,in other words, I am nothing or no one special. I go through it too! - Hope that makes sense to you.

First: I see no abuse. Second: The statement about some in the bible are missing, needs clarfication. The Bible is complete. None of the books are missing.
The Bible states the the dead are conscience of nothing. If you believe the Bible, then you should read about the resurrection hope where our dead love ones will be resurrected on the earth without the conditions we are forced to live with today.

1 Thess 4:17 NIV "Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught UP together with them in THE CLOUDS, to meet the Lord in THE AIR: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."
John 14:2-3 "I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also."
Eph 4:8-11 This is why it says: "When he ASCENDED on high,.. 9 (What does "he ascended" mean except that he also descended to the lower, earthly regions? 10 He who descended is the very one who ascended HIGHER THAN all the HEAVENS, in order to fill the whole universe.)
It sure sounds like we are going up to heaven and not remaining on this earth.

Most people are not going to heaven, the original couple were created to live forever on this earth. Death is nonexistence, not life in another form.

OUR FRIEND SAYS THAT DEATH IS NONEXISTENCE. IF SO I WONDER WHY GOD SPENT SO MUCH TIME DESCRIBING HELL.
HELL IS DARK - Matt 25:30 outside, darkness...
Jude 6 “being bound in chains of darkness
Jude 13 “...The blackest darkness
HELL IS HOT - Luke 16:24 I am in agony in this fire.
Hell is a place of fire: Rev 20:10 lake of burning sulfur.
Rev 14:11 “smoke of their torment
Matt 13:42 throw them into the fiery furnace.
Matt 25:41 “eternal fire
HELL IS A PLACE OF AGONY
Luke 16:24 I am in agony in this fire.”
HELL IS ETERNAL:
Matt 25:46 "Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life."
WHEN HELL ENDS, HEAVEN ENDS. The exact same word describes them both.
Rom 16:26 “...by the command of the eternal God”.
Matt 25:46 “Then they will go away to eternal punishment”.
WHEN HELL ENDS GOD ENDS. The exact same word describes them both.
HELL IS FARE
Justice is served on the basis of the harshness of the crime. Justice is not served on the amount of time it takes to commit the crime. Turning our backs on God is the worst thing a person possibly can do!
Since God so elaborately describes hell I think we should not pretend that there is no such place.

I believe there is a life after death - a life without a body that is present in a different dimension which we know nothing about. Matter is neither created nor destroyed. It merely changes its form. This can more likely be proved than disproved. Yes, we will see each other in "heaven" because they are present on earth in a different form. I also believe in "angels" (good and bad) who are already in this form. Jaybric

How big is said cliff, what is at the bottom of said cliff. If it were a 10 foot cliff into water I would tell you to grow up.
Where I attained this answer is simple when you die, your brain is done. You have no cognitive thinking. So when you die there is just nothing. You wont even know you are dead because you will be dead.
