CLOSED: Do you say bologna or do you say baloney?
And if you say baloney, do you still spell it bologna? Since bologna originated in the city of Bologna, Italy, then it stands to reason that bologna is the correct spelling and pronunciation of the word. So, is there a right way and a wrong way or have we just been conditioned into accepting the two as equals in being the correct way?
Do you know why we refer to a person as being full of baloney if we doubt what they say?
As for me, I say baloney but do spell it bologna. I'm not sure why. Could be a subconscious way of at least being 50% correct. Just a guess. : )
