    Anxiety is emotional distress or worry.

    anxiety or stress is a physiological responce to a percieved threat in the environment.  (Sorry about the spelling, my spellcheck has disappeared)

    To have anxiety is when you are stressed.  Nobody likes to be stressed.  Relax.  Turn stress around - spell the word "stressed" backward.  It becomes DESSERTS.

    Anxiety is a terrible feeling, the feeling of being out of control with yourself, fear, is what usually brings it on, it can me a temporary setback or can go on to change your life if you don't control it either through self meditation and self control or with the aid of medication. The latter is habit forming and you can become addicted. Some people have anxiety as a result of many fears, public speaking, flying, going across bridges are some, others may be the feeling that something is wrong, a feeling that your spouse is stepping out on you, or fear of what is ahead.. It can cause rapid breathing, twitching, impulsive speaking, tremors and even hives,.  It is curable though, many group sessions will attack the cause and one can learn how to combat it.. Self training is the best control and cure..
