I shot and killed a dog that bit my son on two two occasions. My son was three and the dog belonged to my neighbor. The dog bit several others in our area. No regrets.

Last year a woman walking down a country road had both her arms chewed to nubs by two pit bulls. They had her on the news after she healed...it was a pitiful sight. I like dogs, but people have the responsibility to keep vicious dogs contained.
Just recently there was an 18 month old baby that was killed by her own families dog. There again, it was an irresponsible owner and parent at fault.
i was tavelling home at night after having a short break do wn the south east of south aust, when i ran over an Achidna, i was really sh---- off at that cause they are cute little mammals. that changed when i pulled into a service station, i checked out the tyre that ran over the poor little bugger and noticed approx. 30 quills sticking out of the tyre. he had the last laugh if you can say that , brand new $140 tyre stuffed.

To hit a human? If some older kid were tryin to choke my son when he was a toddler and the only way I could get him off my son was to smack him with a golf club, I would probably choose a 3 iron. The same principle applies here with a human being as with a dog, excpet a lot stronger. Do you honestly think I would sit around for the police to show up? HELL NO!
The answer is 3 iron, and that's final.
