    Because we're not English (some of our relatives might have been, but we're Americanized now).

    What kind of answer were you looking for bagpuss? I think it's a reasonable answer. Traditionally AMERICANS have boiled their water. We have no need to make an art out of tea drinking. As she said, we're not English. We do things the American way. Watch the name calling.
