But like Dwayne and others have said, the ones you lost weren't really true friends. We only have a few of those it we're lucky.

My "best friend" borrowed $7500 from us and now we never hear from her. No money either that she "promised" to pay back.

First rule of friend ship "Never lend money you are not prepared to lose" Same goes for family.
I guess I never had a good friend, my family and any of what I thought were friends always have let me down and treated me badly guess that's why I am more of a loner now......

There are different grades of friends. Someone you may know or someone you work with and your life long friends. You can expect the first two types to let you down and occassionally the latter. The thing to ask yourself are you a good enough friend to forgive your friends for letting you down. If the answer is yes. Then they are your true friends. If it's no. Then...............

No I have never been let down by a friend, acqaintences yes, people I worked with yes but friends never. What was all the other blathering about this question, so many go off on a tangent from what is asked. Surprised our Holyer than thou people didn`t hop in with the J word being a true friend that never lets you down.
