The police arnt saying as yet she was found in her appartment in north London this evening but as every one knows she has had many problems one of the most talanted singers of the 21st centry she will be greatly missed

It's really very sad that talented people have this type of thing happen all too often. People are always offering them free drugs, the stress of being on tour and having to sing the same things over and over and over and always trying to be at the top of their game. I would never wish this lifestyle on anyone. Of course we all know the only way around it is to refuse the drugs, far too many succumb eventually and go that route. What a terrible waste of a life.

thanks 6dogs how true is that all the best singers die really early and its all to do with drugs far too often look at Janice Joplin and far too many to name and as you say what a waste of life and Talanet thanks 6dogs for comment :)

Not a nice way to find out the breaking news. She has had ongoing problems with alcohol and drugs, no doubt that will be a contributing factor, but as of right now no test results have come back. Thanks bleep25. She was a wonderfully talented singer, but her troubles overshadowed her career for a long time.

Yes, it is really true. They found here dead in her London apartment not too long ago.

Her body went into shock from alcohol withdrawal. That is what killed her.

she died from too much alcahol and drug overdose

No, she died because her body went in to shock after she quit drinking cold turkey. She hadn't had a drink or gotten high for 30 days and her body shut down. Alcohol was actually keeping her alive.
