Preheat oven 425 degrees
Get some pizza dough from your grocer, marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, I add a little cheddar cheese too, add your favorite toppings and bake for 18-22 minutes or until crust is golden brown and pizza bottom is lightly browned.

We here in RI have a large Italian population, and on "Federal Hill", a section of Providence, are the best restaurants. One is Casertas Pizza, a landmark. It is well known, and for good reason. My wife and I took a pizza class on the Hill a few years back. We learned how to make dough, prepared and put on sauce, toppings and baked. To insure that all had a good time doing it, we drank pictures of Sangria. A fun time. And Corn meal was always used on stone, or bricks of oven which was at aprox. 425 F.

I have one of those pizza pans with the holes so that the crust gets browned better. I buy Bobole (?) crusts, cut up green pepper, red pepper, onion in thin slices or small chucks, put a little olive oil in a fry pan and cook the peppers and onion, when done add in chopped black olives and stir into the mix. Put some pizza sauce on the crust, add a bag of shredded pizza cheese, put the veggies on top of the cheese, add pepperoni for Dad, bake at 350F for 45 minutes. Crust is crispy, veggies cooked through, cheese is melted and the pepperoni is crispy. Good enough for us, no Pizza Hut, Dominoes or Papa John's.

You have to look at the pizza in parts .The crust , the toppings ,the sauce . A cheese that melts with lots of oil residue is no good .too much tomato sauce make s a soggy crust .Pre baking the crust makes a crisp crust that will truely be a slice you can hold .Heat is important as well ,for me its a preheated oven as high as it will go no timer just golden brown . Then there is the pizza stones and the screens ,maybe you should just order . But pizza hut ??????????? Surely you have a better choice than that !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
