Easter eggs are special eggs that are often given to celebrate Easter or springtime.

The egg is a pagan symbol of the rebirth of the Earth in celebrations of spring and was adopted by early Christians as a symbol of the resurrection of Jesus.
Because the Easter Bunny only comes out on Easter morning and lays those beautiful colored eggs. Bunnies lay eggs, rabbits do not, this is why you never hears of an Easter Rabbit.

If you go out early on Easter Morning, you can see Peter Cotton tail hopping down the Bunny trails, picking up colorful Easter eggs for all the nice Easter baskets. I just wish he wasn't so stingy with the candy, and what's with that plastic green grass, that's gotta go..
    because yes
