it's rather disurbing that a child should have to make that decision at any age , but unfortunitly that's the world we live in rather than age shouldn't it be determined by level of maturity, but i guess thats probally not going to work either, id have to agree with yvonne57 at age 15 of cource that dosen't work when the chilids 8 when their parents seperate.

I think the law in most states is 13. I think that is too young. should be 15. My Daughter was allowed to make that decision by the judge and she chose her Father. I think it was a fatal mistake on the judges part. She hasn't been right since then and is still not able to be a responsible adult. So, I think 15 at the earliest.
