I agree with running. (After 20 minutes of running is when your body begins to burn fat, so you want to run for at least 30 minutes at a time. I can vouch for this; it worked for me). But if you don't like to run, then whatever you can readily put the most effort into is good. Any activity that raises your heart rate will help you burn fat, so you could even do fast-walking. These are aerobic activities. An anaerobic activity that would be good is weight lifting. This will build your muscles, and muscles take up less space than fat, plus they burn more calories than fat, even when you're at rest.
