    Your teacher is not likely to be picking on you. Sometimes a teacher will be just trying to get the best out of you. If you have concerns you should ask your teacher if you can speak with them after class. Explain how you feel and that even though you know many of the answers you just clam up. If you approach your teacher respectfully and ask the teacher to help you in this regard you will most likely be pleasantly surprised. I am 50 years of age and struggled with English in my teens. The result was extremely positive and helped me excel for the rest of my life. I hope this helps.
