    Hi Jewel yes 6dogs has said it all. if there is a problem about getting getting back regarding Money your friendmust get intouch with the USA Embassy which in London in Grosvner Square they will help good luck

    Yes, you need BTA to travel from UK to the US.  BTA is refundable, so its just to show that a traveler has the accurate amount of money before he/she will be  allowed to travel.

    Thankyou But do you have any idea as to how much they will charge for this fee ? As my friend is travelling home, back to the united States but with only a very small amount cash on him, and cannot acccess his funds from his bank account till he returns back to the U.S
    So will he still be allowed to leave the U.K do you think ?
