      Much controversy on this "gelato' (Ice Cream) is mostly credited to the Italians. However, there were variations of this that some say originated in China.  I stick with Italy.

          Lots of credit should also be given to the inventor of whipped cream.  There is only one word that needs to be associated with this product:  Versatility!
