    Federal Court System

Are there any time limitations imposed on Federal judges in a civil bench trial with respect to rendering an opinion? What happens if a case is not decided over a lengthy time period and the judge dies or becomes incapacitated?

A new judge is assigned his cases. Judges usually set a time as to when they'll give their decision.
You mean we actually still have a functioning (key word functioning) Federal Court System that works? Hmm.....
