The Minnesota Government was shut down for 14 days. Other than the thousands of state employees laid off, road side rests closed, and state parks closed, most people didn't notice the difference. What does this tell you?

Does this prove that today, government's only purpose is its own self importance?

The state of Minnesota is suffering tremendously. Politicians on the state and federal level need to get their act together. Just think if we had a government shutdown from a national level.

We The People need to watch and vote. That a stand and pay attention to those we are trusting with our livelihood, our existence, our right to remain our freedom.

Why do you say the state of MN is suffering tremendously?

People are hurting. Business' cannot renew their permits and license. Everything is at a standstill. Need I say anymore.

Wheres that moron AL FRANKEN when you need him?

Maybe they continued to use them given the state employees where not there to throw them out.

Somethings the government could shut down and no one would notice.

if it were the local Mcdonolds or liquor store they certainly would take notice

Too many state regulations to abid by.  Then businesses wouldn't be hurting.
