Do you agree with Fathers 4 Justice that BOTH parents are equally important.

    Absolutely!!!
Yes, absolutely. I raised my son by myself until he was 5 years old. I remarried to a man who adopted my son and was a wonderful father. I have observed many divorced families over the years.
Children with good fathers (not just sperm donors) do much better.
I have male friends who raised their children alone and those kids have turned out to be model citizens.
However, if there is a problem parent(drugs, alcohol, not employed, liar, thief and a cheat etc) there may be cases where the mom or dad should not have custody.
Both parents are very important in a childs life, providing that they are capable of rearing a child.

Why would anyone say differently. Of course.

Yes, why. But the Family Court says otherwise in 95% of cases.

Assuming your statistic is accurate, there must be a damn good reason to keep a parent out of the picture. Violence perhaps.

I found a interesting article on how important the role of a father is in the rearing of a child, I'll leave the website if anyone's interested.

For years, mothers have been looked to as the nurturing creatures genetically predisposed to provide a healthy and loving environment for their children. For decades, moms stayed home with their children while dads were away working which had socialists to assume that motherhood played the most significant role in a child’s life. However, as the tides began to change, research too shifted to see what the importance of a father in a child life really is all about. The results are astounding but not surprising.

Yes. Providing the family is stable, it is very important for children to have a mother and a father.

I THINK THE OLDER A CHILD IS THE MORE IMORTANT THE FATHER IS

Yes, I do, I had to raise four children by myself a few years and yes both are important, but not essential as stability.
