We had a big cleanout here about 30 years ago.It was called the Fitzgerald Enquiry. It made worldwide news. There was all kinds of corruption & graft going on that all of the polititians were either involved in or turning their backs on.Sometimes I wonder if we are ready for another cleanout.

Wonderful how cleansing such events can be. Corruption mangles everything and everyone attached to it...makes it easier to see who-all are involved. If I was in politics I would keep notes about every bit of dirt I came across and favors in and for support and denials as well. Of course, that's why I'm not in politics...how can anyone be in that without being a scoundrel? That is in the eyes of everyone else like Tabloid-flash cards popping up to pin down whoever for whatever. Can anyone have an opinion that is not absurd?
Give them an offer they can't refuse

That actually works....present the scoundrel with a collected body of evidence and demand reparation and/or vacate...or take it to court....or call in a higher power. I have seen that work out with swift justice. Those who expose the facts are at some risk unless they can remove themselves from potential back-lash. Sometimes all you can do is minimize personal injury or damage to your reputation. It's a matter of risk management.
