Wisdom comes to us from God, knowledge is what we learn from it.

wisdom is carrying life experiences and in most cases comes with age where as knowledge is more about knowing facts and can be obtained more studying, learning, researching ect.

I'd put it this way - it's the difference between your math and history teachers.
One can deduct and reach the right conclusions in every situation, the other is just aware of the facts.

True because recorded history is not always factual so correct conclusions may not be as possible as they are in mathematics.

The chasm is great! For knowledge must of needs be followed by Understanding they are not intetrchangable terms but follow an order. Wisdom can only be acheived by the application of Understanding. For Knowledge is the Light of ignorance; Understanding the Light of knowledge; Wisdom the Light of understanding; the Truth the Light of wisdom; and lastly Love the Light of truth. :)

Wisdom is when you gone through something and learned from the experience. Knowledge is understanding something without having gone through the experience.

While one may have the knowledge of calculus, such a person may be entirely incapable of grasping larger issues and articulating knowledge. Often those who are endowed with mathematical skills, lack the ability to conceptually grasp world events.

History is a wonderful platform for other endeavors including the legal profession, archaeology, political science, archeology and a variety of other disciplines. You will find that many in the legal profession majored in some form of history.

How many math teachers have written accomplished works such as 'The Twelve Cesars' or countless other works such as the following.

Can't agree. History is not always factually recorded. You are trying to show more knowledge that you actually have. Knowledge goes beyond book learning.

Wisdom is experience, knowledge is understanding of something without the experience.

A good example is the definition of a gentleman. One who knows how to play the bagpipes, but doesn't.

He is both knowledgeable, and wise.
