Refraction eye test is a test that measures a person's need for eyeglasses/contact lenses.
The test involves looking through a device to read letters or recognizing symbols that are written/drown on a chart placed on one of the clinic's walls. The test is performed by an ophthalmologist or an optometrist, who changes lenses in the device. Each lens has a different strength. The ophthalmologist/optometrist checks what lens fits the patient.
