          Yes indeed they have. Just keep an eye on the "Unanswered Page" throughout the day and you'll see that this forum is all but dead! Rarely more than a few new questions per day and most are asked by our regular members, who are simply attempting to keep things going.

            Well, then we'll keep using it for a chat room. We're having fun.So, what the heck ? It really helps in the winter when I'm snowed in and bored and lonely .

            It seems to have become more of a chat room.Which is a good thing IMO. I have made friends with a lot of people around the world over the past 3 years thanks to this forum.I hope it continues.

              I hope it's a chat room. I always thought some of the questions were too specific for just one person like ... How far is 37 W. Elm street in Chicago to 43 Bailywood Avenue in Florida.
              I dunno. Maybe that's what this site it for?

              Tommy : I think the drop in numbers would be caused by all the other sites. This one could be different. I'd like to see a real old-fashioned chat room. They can be really funny when you try to answer 3 people at the same time. That was my best experience on the computer.Google is trying to do that but I don't believe it's quite working. We were going to go on in a Skype group. I was all ready to do it but the thing didn't work. I'lll never have nerve to make a personal appearance ... just chat will suit me fine.

              Yes lets hope we keep going, we really must try and think up some new questions. I'm going to do some serious thinking tomorrow, I don't want to log on one day and find everyone gone.

                  It's been like that for a long time. Now, they're putting questions on here from  3 years ago !  Oh, well, we've formed a nice group of people that is like a family  :-)

                    I truly love most of the people who are on this site regularly


                    Lots of nice people have disappeared.  The influx of questions have disappeared for the most part.  It looks like two of the moderators are MIA lately.  


                    The members who remain and participate are a source of happiness for me.  I feel like Tommy; though I've never met "you all" face to face (or even know what most of you look like), I feel a closeness and reassurance that you will be here.  It's a supportive group, even though I bicker with Juliana at times.  We probably have more in common than we'd like to admit!!!!  


                    YOU need to hang out more often!!

                      MIA - Missing In Action. Ducky seems to be the only moderator on site, though I don't follow the other two or hear from them often.
                      You are at the top of the A-list, which is very crowded...my A-list, anyway.

                      It's good here. I've been here forever and I can truly say I don't dislike anyone's words.
                      Somehow CB's plate of nasty looking stuff got put on Google+ with my name over the top. It looked like I was presenting this to them. I don't think I'll ever know who did this to me. Any ideas anyone?
                      Anyway, at the time this happened I left akaqa and spent HOURS & HOURS trying to delete this horrid post and straighten out my reputation.
                      When CB's post was here on akaqa I ever tried to straighten out her reputation.
                      I was DUMB DUMB DUMB
                      It's all over now and I just post music.
                      Anybody have any ideas?
                      I am not blaming anyone. Please know that. OK?

                        Do you know where that phrase came from? Peddlers would have piglets to sell, they would pull a bait and switch, and replace a cat for the pig, and tell you not to open it till you arrived home. They hoped that you did not "let the cat out of the bag", or their secret would be over.
